With the increased ability to access court documents electronically comes a concern about the personal privacy implications of electronic access to court case records. This policy is intended to provide electronic access to court case records in a way that mutually benefits the public and the judiciary by making access to certain court case records while protecting the privacy of identifiable interests. Brazos County reserves the right to:
* Suspend, restrict, or revoke service to any account.
* Suspend, restrict, or revoke service to an account if the application omits any information required by the Brazos County Court Case Records Electronic Access Policy or contains any false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
* Suspend, restrict, or revoke service to an account at any time that Brazos County determines the action is necessary to prevent fraud, to maintain the security of its computer systems and networks, or to protect from abuse of the information found in the online system.
It is the account holder's responsibility to check these Statements or the Policy regularly for changes. Continued use of the System following the posting of changes will mean that the account holder accepts and agrees to the changes. The account being registered is for my use only; I assume responsibility for all for preventing unauthorized use of the account. If I believe there has been unauthorized or unacceptable use, I must notify the District Clerk’s Office immediately by phone at (979) 361-4230.
